A couple of things I forgot yesterday plus an "I told you so".

I told you so!

Did you see Youk's second at bat?  The whining?  I was so happy to hear we got a pretty good first base prospect for WiMo (who is tearing up for the Nats by the way) because that means we can re-sign Lowell and trade the whiny bitch known as Youkilis.

Eating my words.

Tim Wakefield has not gotten his proper due from me this year.  I just about shoveled his grave before the season started so I'm more than happy to eat all that dirt and applaud you Mr. Wakefield.  You have found a secret sauce this season and I'm more than happy to see you push for 20 wins.  What a fitting achievement that would be at the tail end of your career.

Two-Faced Liars

One more thing on the Michael Vick issue.  I am truly sickened that PETA has taken the opportunity to utilize this case and leverage some free and sympathetic PR out of this tragedy.  What is tragic, in the long run, is that PETA has actually killed more dogs than Michael Vick will ever be accused of.  Unfortunately Vick doesn't have the same legal and PR team.  Otherwise he'd be playing football right now.
