Now that the season has started I’m going to be doing a lot more posts of the quick and efficient variety.  Trying to use a unique quote from 90 minute long The Warriors, for every one, means I’ll run out by the All Star break.  Starting today the most fitting title will be the most popular of them all.  “Can You Dig It?”  is what it is and I hope you enjoy it, all ten of my loyal readers.

Another reason to loathe the post World Series Red Sox fans was on full display Wednesday at Fenway.  Booing a man, who weighs 523 lbs and is coming off of knee surgery, on opening day and during his first start is beyond ridiculous and incredibly hypocritical.  All of this animosity has been generated by the fact he asked to be traded(then rescinded) so he could finish his career near his home on the left coast.  Saints have asked to be traded for worse reasons and I don’t mean the ones from New Orleans.  I guess since he asks three times per season, everyone has forgotten that they applaud like crazy when Manny Ramirez rescinds his trade requests.  As much as I want this team to succeed for years to come, part of me wants them to crash and burn so all of these losers can jump straight off of the bandwagon before it careens into the Green Monster.

It was only a matter of time before somebody whipped this out.  I wish I knew how to quit you.

Not that I enjoy reliving painful memories, but this guy put a video together using Nintendo Baseball and Vin Scully’s call from the bottom of the 9th of Game 6 in 86.  Although it still stings I give it an A+ for effort.

Kudos to Shea-nia Hillenbrand for continuing his legacy as the gentlemen of the league.  If he keeps this up, he’ll be the Claude Lemiuex of baseball.
